Flyer Design with Canva
Think Like a Designer: Using Canva to Create Promotional Materials
Step up your flyer game using Canva!
In this quick demo-style tutorial, I will present a simple technique for laying out a simple flyer. For this class, I'm going to use the free web-based design tool Canva to create an event flyer.
During this 15 minute video, I will demonstrate how to place an image and use the built-in photo manipulation tools to resize, crop, and make brightness, contrast, and saturation adjustments. In addition, I step the viewer through the process of selecting text, choosing fonts, and then using this tool to organize the content to help the reader use the information.
