I am going to post a monthly project to help you prepare and to be the belly dance teacher that your students deserve. Each class will be linked with the other 1st steps in teaching classes. "Are you ready to teach belly dance" is step one.
Your Instructor

Sara Shrapnell spent 12 years teaching, performing and hosting events in the UK before moving to the Bay Area of San Francisco in 2011. Her classes are known for their humor, detailed breakdowns and cultural context. She adapts her lessons to suit the dancers, their needs and aims. Students who have studied with Sara have gone on to teach and perform in all styles of belly dance and many have made their living through performance or teaching.
